MAR 2026 In-Review
This Month's Story

Rapid Development
in a notoriously slow industry

Who knew founding an optical technology company would lead to your team racing aroung a track in Porsches as professional drivers rip around the corners? Or that shaking hands and making connections at OFC could feel so at-home? Or that being the guest on a podcast would be so enjoyable? Who knew all this would be in the same month? March was a whirlind of excitement and growth. Now it's time to kick-off some contracts!

March started with a very exciting Wells Fargo-hosted event at Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles. While there, founders and investors from across Southern California got to meet up, talk shop, and get in the passenger seats of some incredible machines. Our team also attended OFC, where over 700 exhibitors got to show off their optical networking technologies. We may not have gotten to visit every booth, but the team made meaningful inroads and came up with some great new ideas. Tyler, our Founder/CEO, also guest-starred on his first Peregrine-related podcast, hosted by Balerion Space Ventures.

In addition to all the exciting events, Peregrine is preparing to start one of our first corprate-partnered contracts, which will conclude with the delivery of flight hardware. Engineering work continues for our Peregrine Space SHIKRA product, to be released in June. SHIKRA is a close-range, low-SWaP laser rangefinder payload built for even the smallest of hosts.

The Precision Timing Solution

Peregrine has released its productized Precision Time Distribution Module. With low SWaP requirements and up to 42 adjustable outputs, customers can now leverage our expertise on any of their systems.

A Growing Team

The start of our upcoming and ongoing contracts will spur the hiring of a few more technical experts. The Peregrine team is excited to grow larger!

A Look Back at OFC

The team met with potential vendors at the Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exposition (OFC) this month. The recent boom in demand for, and development of, AI- and datacenter-related optical hardware is putting Peregrine Space in a sweet-spot to benefit from groundbreaking new COTS hardware.

Kick-offs and Conferences

Our team is gearing up for the kick-off of a joint contract, slated for early April. We were also selected to present at the Poster Session of Small Satellite Conference in Utah, August 2026, with a corporate parner. We'll see you there on Wednesday of the conference!

"This month went by faster than ever, but it couldn't have been more important for our company. From attending OFC and learning about all the crazy, high-data rate technology, to sharing our mission on the Eye of the Dragon podcast, it's months like this that keep us excited about what we do!"
